According to the Victorian language of flowers delphiniums were believed to symbolise the dreamer’s heart and in some cultures they are also thought to have magical properties. With their heavenly blue blooms it isn’t surprising that this flower represents joy and positivity and we love to see their graceful spires gently swaying in our garden.

The delphinium illustration has been embroidered onto our palm leaf bucket shaped basket bag by the skilful hand of women artisans in Morocco.
