The dusty pink and terracotta stripes of this hand loomed cotton hammam towel remind us of the striking colours of Marrakech, famously known as the ‘red city’ for it’s earthy walls and clay buildings.
Our traditional peshtemal are handwoven in Turkey using the finest, locally grown Turkish cotton. Their popularity is entirely understandable considering the benefits of a lightweight, quick drying towel for popping in a suitcase when travelling, or in a basket for heading to the beach.
Hammam towels offer great versatility and we find endless uses for ours, a generous wrap on breezy days, poolside sarong, picnic blanket, impromptu tablecloth and spa towel.
